Green Is Universal #GIFtATree Campaign – Join the Fun!

This is the time of year when everything is decorated and we are enjoying the holiday festivities.  Putting up the Christmas tree is a time honored tradition, in my household and many others throughout the world!

Why not make a difference this year as we celebrate the season?

This holiday season, you can create and decorate a tree on Green is Universal’s website, For each GIF created and shared, Green is Universal and Arbor Day Foundation will plant a tree in a state park or national forest. For each action, one real tree will be planted, up to 25,000, funded by a $25,000 contribution to the Arbor Day Foundation, from NBCU.

Think of how many trees we can plant together!!

Here is one I just created! Kinda cute, isn’t it?

It is so easy to participate! All you have to do is create a holiday GIF tree on their website and for every GIF shared and #GIFtATree generated before the end of December, the Arbor Day Foundation (ADF) will plant one real tree, up to 25,000, in a state part or national forest, funded by a $25,000 contribution from NBCUniversal. That is so simple! And while you’re having fun decorating a virtual tree, you’re also doing good by helping our precious planet! Win Win!

So take a minute and create your GIF on Green Is Universal’s website!  Be sure to share and use the hashtag #GIFtATree!

Happy Planting!!
